BBC Radio 1 - Hitting the Prime Time

We got airplay on Radio 1 on the In New Music We Trust show courtesy of Huw Stephens last Wednesday. This was our first taste of the prime time Introducing show, and Huw kindly pumped out Scattered. Quality

Later that night on the Introducing show, Huw played Apples & Pears, as a leaving request for BBC Radio Producer Clare Chadburn. Clare is moving onto Jo Wiley, maybe she'll take us with her!

Seriously tho... its been very cool since we first got that bit of play back in March and then after Chris met Huw, things have been constantly on the up. We're also speaking to Bethan Efflyn about possibly christmas party shows for her nights in London and Cardiff. Blimming schweet.

Still hilarious Sonar memories continue

Think before you print

Someone at my office just printed some huge document, single sided on the duplex printer (of course).... best bit about it was that the final page that printed litearlly only contained the page number and the 'think before you print logo'... and this is why I dont have one...

still thought that was funny.

Anyways.

Ayu is trapped in Rome with a missing Passport, due to fly to Japan on 14th Sept.
Matt is trapped in an office job until 5pm
Chris is trapped inside a beard.
and our new member Seb (photographs), who will be joingin us on the Japan tour is trapped in a world where English is the majority language.

We'll be using the blog shortly as a home to all of our news and to keep a live journal whilst we are in Japan.

Visit Poland - Visit Czech Republic too

The beautiful town of Nysa, Poland... claims to have the steepest roof for any Catholic Church in Europe, it is ridculously steep too. It was also bombed during the Second World War and rebuilt (only the outside was rebuilt so its a huge hangar space).

Please check out http://um.nysa.pl/_portal/ to discover the home page image with a glorious beach and forest overlooking a huge lake... it looks like the med! Its not... dont be fooled. They do however have a host of festivals that cost a mere couple of quid and the vodka is in abundance

Probably Nysa's best export - the Nysa Van... a vehicle so proudly made in Nysa, it was called after it.... out of production, but a dream to look at. Eat your heart out VW Camper.

A Pretty Nice Review

Just linking a review for Condors made by Tim Boddy at The 405. Quite a decent little webzine worth checking out regardless of your interests.

Condors Launch Party Pics

Hi,

So Ayu has gone to Japan, and we'll be heading off to meet her in a few weeks but until then things are a bit quiet on the gig front i.e. non-existent so i'm digging back to the Album Launch Party, which was obviously really good. So our friend Simon took some spacy images and I thought i'd throw them up on the blog.

I recently listened to the exclusive of the new Massive Attack song 'Splitting the Atom' on Zane Lowe BBC Radio 1,... its quite good... 3D proudly states how they dont change the drum line at all in the song, which in a way is cool but also makes it very difficult to suss why it took several years to make! meh, its good, really groovy

Thank you to Miriam Rowe for making such a stunning little video edit for us. courtesy of some candles, a lamp and a toilet with no windows.

I hope you like it.

Also, we did a really fun live session for Resonance FM the other day. You can listen again on this webpage 'The Other Woman Music'. Massive thanks to Ruth Barnes for making it happen and Sarah for her engineering skills, we had a great time.
